Accounts Payable Assistant

We are currently partnering with a leading food service provider, who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £27,000 and the start date is subject to notice. This role will require commuting to their office in Southport five days per week.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

·         Managing high volumes of client queries, liaising with suppliers

·         Processing high volumes of invoices

·         Reconciling accounts and supplier statements

·         Utilising Excel to manage the Accounts Payable ledger

Experience required:

·         Experience required within Accounts Payable

·         Intermediate Excel capabilities including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         Ability to perform account reconciliations

·         Ability to manage high volumes of invoices

·         37.5 hours per week
