Join a growing business making a difference

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Looking for more than a traditional admin role?

We’re looking for an Office & Operations Coordinator to join a fast-growing, purpose-led business in Greater Leeds. This is a brilliant opportunity to become a key part of a small, ambitious team where things move quickly, no two days look the same, and your ideas can genuinely make a difference.

You’ll be at the centre of the action, helping keep the office running smoothly, supporting colleagues, working with suppliers, getting involved in events and projects, and finding smarter ways to get things done.

And because it's a growing business, there’s plenty of opportunity to learn, take ownership and progress.

What makes this opportunity different?

Startup energy, without the chaos.

The business is growing quickly, which means you’ll have plenty of autonomy and the chance to get involved in things beyond your core responsibilities.

A genuinely international team.

The team of around 40 people represents 10+ nationalities, bringing different perspectives, experiences and ways of thinking to the table.

Purpose matters.

Sustainability is central to what they do. You’ll have the opportunity to support practical sustainability initiatives within the business, as well as contribute to ESG reporting and communications.

Promoting within.

The company believes in developing their people. Internal progression and promotions are a genuine focus, with opportunities to broaden your responsibilities as the business grows.

Women are empowered to lead.

Committed to creating an environment where women can thrive, develop their careers and lead. Your ambition is something the company wants to support, not limit.

What you'll be doing

This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll help make sure the business has everything it needs to operate at its best.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Office & facilities - be the go-to person for day-to-day office and facilities matters, working with building management, cleaners and contractors.
  • Supplier management - manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, obtain quotes, raise purchase orders and coordinate maintenance.
  • IT administration - work with our external IT provider to support new starters and leavers, manage equipment and maintain IT asset records.
  • Events & meetings - help organise company events, offsites, meetings and other team activities.
  • General administration - manage documents, filing, post, courier bookings and provide support to the wider team and senior leadership.
  • Sustainability & ESG - support sustainability initiatives across the office and contribute to internal and external ESG reporting.
  • Projects & process improvement - get involved in wider business projects and look for opportunities to make processes quicker, simpler and more effective.
  • Technology & AI - embrace new tools and technologies, including AI, to improve the way you work and help the wider team work smarter.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is organised, energetic and proactive — someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in office administration, facilities, operations or reception
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with colleagues, suppliers and contractors
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and basic IT systems
  • A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Great attention to detail and a natural instinct for problem-solving
  • An interest in technology and using AI tools to work more efficiently
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • An interest in sustainability and making a positive impact
  • The right to work in the UK at the expected start date

Your opportunity to grow

We want this to be more than your next job.

As the business grows, so can you. The business has a strong focus on internal development and promotion, and this role can open doors into broader business support, HR, IT, operations or sustainability-focused positions.

If you’re ambitious, adaptable and excited by the idea of joining a diverse team where you can make your mark, we’d love to hear from you.
