Benefits Enrollment Representative (short-term contract)

Responsibilities

Assist federal employees, retirees, and military personnel with plan enrollment, account setup, general plan questions, and site navigation—all from home. This short-term seasonal role is a great way to get started with Working Solutions, with the highest call volume during open enrollment (November 9 – December 14). If you’re a good fit, you may have the opportunity to continue with another program afterward.

  • Complete Assessments (only one-attempt is allowed)
  • Pass PC Scan (must be on a computer, not mobile device)
  • Record Video Interview (can re-record as many times as needed)

Earnings Potential

  • The contracted rate is $0.28 for English and $0.31 for Spanish per Customer Interaction Minute (CIM).
  • $16.80 - $18.60 (hourly equivalent)
  • Contractors will be provided a prorated minimum of 54 minutes per productive hour.
  • This program also has incentives available beyond the per-minute rate.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule opportunities - you choose your own hours!
  • Hours of operations are 7am-8pm CT Monday-Friday and may increase during open enrollment

Work Environment Requirements

  • Quiet, uninterrupted space during all working hours.

Technology Requirements

  • Personal computer (no tablet)
  • Broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS
  • Wired internet connection, such as cable, fiber optic, or DSL (no Wi-Fi, satellite, or mobile internet)
  • Windows 11 operating system
  • Windows Security/Microsoft Defender Antivirus (included in Windows 11 and free to use), running and up to date
  • Wired USB headset with microphone.
  • A smart phone and be willing to accept texts related to program work.
  • Mac users: Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.

Important Information

We are currently unable to work with contractors residing in the following states: CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, MN, MT, NH, NJ, NY, OR, PA VT, WA, WI for this program.

Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
