We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating intuitive dashboards, interpreting complex datasets, and translating numbers into meaningful narratives, all to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement across multiple departments.


What You’ll Do


As a Data & Systems Analyst, you will monitor performance of the base maintenance activities through the company ERP software and translate numbers and data into useful information that can be used by an organisation to solve business problems.


As well as understanding the data, you must also be able to provide insight and analysis to a range of stakeholders through clear visual, written and verbal communication.


Responsibilities


  • Monitor and maintain WASL ERP software to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Liaise with ERP software developers to constantly improve its performance
  • Be the ERP software superuser and expert
  • Support stakeholders to develop processes and procedures aligned with ERP software workflow
  • Collect data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and preparing it for analysis.
  • Provide training as required to users of the ERP software.
  • Liaise with ERP developers to constantly improve ERP performance
  • Develop tools to enable Preparation and Production Planning to operate efficiently.
  • Support business managers with data analysis to enable better management of resources.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to give suitable visibility to all Part 145 metrics.
  • Continuously review new technologies that can assist in the automation and optimisation of tasks.
  • Assist with work package creation from Quotes to ensure Commercial details are captured
  • Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work.


Qualifications / Requirements


  • Proficiency in various programming languages (e.g., Python, R), statistical software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS EXCEL
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems related to both data and systems
  • Familiarity with how businesses work and how IT systems support those processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical data.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical thinking
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the ability to engage confidently with both internal and external stakeholders


Desirables


  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Part-145 and Part-M/CAMO requirements.
  • Technical knowledge representative of the products/types maintained by WASL desirable.
  • MRO ERP software knowledge desirable (AMOS, Tracking+, TRAXX)
  • Knowledge of HF, EWIS, & FTS
