At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to own complex product problems and drive meaningful outcomes through influence rather than authority
  • Proven track record of shaping product direction, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering results in environments where success depends on credibility, clarity, and judgment—not formal management responsibility
  • Exceptional product judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity; ability to consistently frame the right problems, make principled tradeoffs, and move teams from uncertainty to action, especially in periods of change or evolving strategy
  • Clear evidence of setting the standard for high-quality product work through personal practice; known for how you do product management—not just what you deliver—by modeling strong discovery, narrative thinking, prioritization, and decision-making that others actively learn from and emulate
  • Experience acting as a catalyst for change in product ways of working; demonstrated success introducing new approaches, tools, or operating norms and building momentum through visible results, strong reasoning, and trust
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and storytelling skills; ability to bring diverse partners along by clearly articulating product intent, customer value, and tradeoffs in a way that builds alignment and confidence at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of credit risk concepts and lending decision processes
  • Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
  • Preferred: Knowledge of how lenders assess borrower risk, structure credit decisions, and manage portfolios to support the effective translation of data and analytics into product capabilities
  • Preferred: Intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge existing product norms; actively seeks better ways to practice product management, stays current on evolving techniques and tools, and is thoughtful about when and how to apply them to improve speed, insight, and quality of outcomes
  • Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred

  • Set the standard for high-quality product management through personal execution; model strong product practices including discovery, prioritization, narrative development, and outcome definition that others can adopt and emulate (20%)
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution; partner independently with engineering, design, data, commercial, legal, and operational stakeholders to deliver outcomes without direct supervision (15%)
