Rockstar Games is looking for a passionate Director, Workplace Services. This role will be a leader for the Workplace Services North America team, ensuring the studio environments meet high standards for operational effectiveness, efficiency and stakeholder needs.

The Director should have proven experience working in a cross-functional capacity to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity seeks a proactive leader with a consistent record in facilities management.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. 

WHAT WE DO

  • The Workplace Services team supports the core business through operational excellence, quality vendor partners and cross-functional collaboration.
  • We create a creative, supportive, and safe working environment for the staff at Rockstar.
  • We manage and develop hard and soft services, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and space utilization.
  • We ensure the site complies with all relevant compliance and legislation.
  • We partner with senior leadership to drive proactive real estate strategies, leasehold improvement, and capital expenditure projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all facility services and programs for the North America bi-coastal portfolio with a focus on efficiency, performance, and innovation.
  • Proactively engage with and support studio leads, ensuring their operational needs are consistently met.
  • Conduct structured site visits to support the local Workplace Services Manager. Identify and address issues with the ability to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the performance of the North America Workplace Services Managers.
  • Collaborate with other regional Workplace leads to ensure consistent approach and quality of execution.
  • Develop, manage, and report on Workplace budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
  • Partner with other Workplace Services teams such as Project Management, Real Estate, Health & Safety and Administration on delivery of services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of proven multi-site facilities management experience with 5+ years of experience leading senior managers.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to drive improvements and maintain operational efficiency standards across multiple locations.
  • Independently able to take objectives from conceptualization to execution.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key partners across all levels of an organization, influence decision making, and gain consensus to drive key initiatives.
  • Experience with the design and management of new office builds, renovations, relocation, or construction projects, maintaining high standards across operational and support spaces.
  • Experience leveraging data to improve and execute preventative maintenance plans.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems including proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple needs with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience employing data to identify trends and inform facilities management decisions, optimize service delivery, and operations.

  • CFM - Certified Facility Manager.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and management software (Monday.com, Service Now, OfficeSpace a plus).
  • Prior experience operating in a studio or production environment.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.  

 

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
