The Distribution Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the right vehicles are delivered to the right dealers at the right time, supporting over 177 dealerships with inventory valued at over $2 billion. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage vehicle allocation, optimize inventory strategies, and support analytical requests. The Analyst will work with advanced tools and systems, contribute to process improvements, and support dealer performance through data-driven insights. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experts in distribution, logistics, and vehicle processing while contributing to strategic enhancements across the organization. Responsibilities Manage vehicle allocation processes, including setup, execution, dealer communication, and fairness audits using VIN Sight. Lead mid-month allocation audits and apply chargebacks while communicating results to District Sales Managers. Support ad-hoc analytical requests by extracting and presenting insights using Excel, Power BI, and other tools. Provide ongoing support to dealers, field teams, and internal departments through timely and accurate responses to inquiries. Contribute to the Inventory Management Certification (IMC) program through content development and facilitation. Maintain and update the internal SharePoint site with relevant policies, procedures, and reference materials. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Knowledge of the automotive industry is preferred. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tools and reporting platforms (advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI or similar BI tools) is required. Strong attention to detail with capability of managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic team environment is required. Solid administrative and customer service skills, ensuring smooth operations and positive interactions. Exemplary time management and prioritization skills and ability to maintain focus and efficiency under pressure. Strong communication and presentation abilities are required. Ability to lead meetings and engage diverse audiences. Adaptable and a quick learner open to new functions and projects. Availability to work a standard Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with flexibility (e.g., 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) as needed. Ability to support occasional extended hours during month-end close (once monthly until 10:00 PM) and bi-monthly allocation cycles. After 6 - 12 months of successful onboarding, eligibility for hybrid work arrangements. Current departmental minimum of 3 in-office days per week. Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to support business operations.
