Previous apprentices have been based at:</p><ul><li>London Paddington</li><li>Reading</li><li>Oxford</li><li>Maidenhead</li><li>Didcot Parkway</li><li>Swindon</li><li>Gloucester</li><li>Bristol</li><li>Cardiff</li><li>Exeter St Davids</li><li>Newton Abbot</li><li>Plymouth</li><li>Truro</li></ul><h2><strong>What we're looking for</strong></h2><p>To apply, you'll need to:</p><ul><li>Be <strong>16 or over</strong> when the apprenticeship starts.</li><li>Live within approximately <strong>one hour's travel</strong> of your chosen location.</li><li>Have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent Level 1 qualifications or predicted grades).</li></ul><h2><strong>Working hours</strong></h2><p>This apprenticeship is based on a <strong>35-hour working week</strong>, with shifts scheduled between <strong>7:00am and 8:00pm</strong>.</p><p>As part of a customer-facing railway operation, you'll experience a variety of shifts and working patterns, giving you valuable experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.</p><h2><strong>Why choose GWR?</strong></h2><p>At GWR, you'll be part of a team that's transforming the way people travel by rail.
