Key Responsibilities

As a Collection Driver at First Mile, your primary duties will include:

  • Starting your shift from our Operations Depot in North Acton
  • Picking up your vehicle and following a predetermined collection route.
  • Using our innovative app to select the most efficient routes.
  • Collecting refuse bags from clients.
  • Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.

Shift Pattern

Night Shifts:

  • Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts) with a weekend day on alternate weeks. Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm

Morning Shifts:

  • Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts). Morningshifts start between 5am-8am.

Requirements

  • A valid Cat. C UK driving license.
  • A clean UK driving license.
  • Experience driving in a city, preferably London.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Proficient English language skills
