[Hiring] Order Purchaser @Utility Profit

Role Description

Our Order Purchaser serves a variety of critical functions for Utility Profit renters, primarily working with renters to ensure that their utility orders are completed and verified. The position requires delivering stellar customer support and sales-adjacent activities and will work remotely from Mexico (or a location within 2 hours of US Central Time Zone) on an ongoing basis.

  • Inside Sales & Customer Support: Assist renter customers with placing utility orders and explaining their options. Communicate with renters by phone, text, and email.
  • Phone Support: Make outgoing calls to follow up with renters and sometimes utility providers.
  • Additional Client or Other Support: Assist with other activities to support clients and the growing team as time allows.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good listener with attention to what renters say.
  • Driven to push for completion of the order process.
  • Comfortable using and learning new technology.
  • Highly organized and able to track multiple moving pieces in a high-volume environment.
  • Friendly, naturally outgoing, and extroverted.
  • Quick on your feet and adaptable to change.
  • Enjoy working toward goals and being rewarded.

Requirements

  • 4-Months Contract: Available to work full-time with some weekend availability. This contract may be subject to renewal based on volume and performance.
  • Persistence & Follow-Up: Reach out by phone, text, and email to renters and utility companies as needed.
  • Trust-Worthy: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely; willing to undergo a standard background check.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with multiple applications and windows open while working.
  • Engaging and Empathetic: Easily interact with and engage potential renters.
  • Fast Thinker: Adapt to changes in process or utility options presented to renters.
  • Goal-Oriented: Naturally competitive and enjoy being good at what you do.
