Job Summary

Infrastructure Engineer – Hourly Rate: $20‑30/Hour – Company: American Express – Location: Cheyenne, USA

As a member of the digital workplace content management team you will analyze business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements for the digital workplace business content control crew and contribute to the analysis and design of business and technical solutions. You will also help design, build, develop and integrate infrastructure required to support the content management business portfolio or infrastructure platform in terms of reliability, scalability, availability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mid‑level engineering activities to support infrastructure implementations, deployments, and Microsoft 365 related technologies.
  • Handle incident management, problem resolution, and change control.
  • Create accurate project specifications.
  • Perform proof of concepts to test new capabilities and technologies.
  • Manage and coordinate vendor and escalation support.
  • Provide technical input for creating, maintaining, and enforcing content and standards.

Education & Experience

As much as four years of experience with structural analysis/programming, including infrastructure operations or engineering.

Bachelor’s degree in PC technology, laptop engineering, or a related field required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Planner).
  • Analytical skills and technical know‑how to handle moderate to high complexity issues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to SharePoint, OneDrive and shared content offerings.
