About the Role

We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer with hands‑on experience in IT support and infrastructure. You’ll ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems while providing excellent support to employees in our Gatwick office.

As part of a global team (UK HQ and Miami), you’ll manage core IT infrastructure, resolve technical issues, and assist with projects and upgrades. While focused on infrastructure, you’ll also support business systems and applications as needed.

This role is based on site at our Crawley office, five days per week. The successful candidate will also participate in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota, for which additional compensation is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for IT support requests (email, IM, phone, in person).
  • Support Windows applications, peripherals, Microsoft 365, and Teams.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding: laptop setup, accounts, access rights, licenses.
  • Administer user accounts and access controls (Active Directory / Entra ID).
  • Manage and troubleshoot endpoint management solutions (Intune / Threatlocker).
  • Configure VPN, Wi‑Fi, LAN, DNS, DHCP; assist with firewall, switch configuration and security improvements.
  • Collaborate on global IT projects, migrations, and upgrades and security implementations
  • Develop and use basic automation scripts (PowerShell).
  • Provide first‑line support for our ERP application (Quantum)
  • Escalate ERP‑related issues within the IT & Transformation Team and help differentiate between IT infrastructure and application‑level issues.
  • Maintain documentation of IT procedures, support tickets, and solutions.

Ideally, you have:

  • 5+ years of IT support or IT infrastructure experience.
  • Strong demonstrable knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID.
  • Proficiency in Windows configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Threatlocker).
  • Networking fundamentals: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
  • Experience in system upgrades, migrations, and IT security practices.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, documentation and communication skills.
