We are seeking an Interim Corporate Finance Advisor with strong M&A experience — ideally with exposure to the travel, leisure, tourism or consumer services sectors — to support the financial evaluation, due diligence, and transaction execution of upcoming acquisitions.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving assignment supporting multiple live deals.

About the Client

Our client is a well-capitalised, internationally minded travel group with a mission to acquire and scale niche, founder-led tour brands. They are preparing for IPO and have the resources to move quickly on the right opportunities.

They are targeting:

  • Well-established, specialist tour operators with a clear niche and strong reputation
  • Founder-led or entrepreneurially driven businesses with mature operations
  • Companies with loyal repeat guests, positive reviews, and a history of delivering high-quality travel experiences
  • Brands with values aligned around responsibility, authenticity, sustainability, and quality
  • Businesses with potential to scale internationally or digitally with improved systems and technology
  • Revenue range: €2–20m
  • Regions of interest: DACH, France, and select international markets
  • Preference for asset-light, scalable business models

Role Responsibilities

As the Interim Corporate Finance Advisor, you will:

  • Lead financial due diligence on target tour operators
  • Build and refine valuation models, forecasts, and M&A financial scenarios
  • Assess operational quality, commercial metrics, customer profile, and growth potential
  • Provide insight into travel-sector economics, cost structures, and risk factors
  • Support deal structuring, negotiation inputs, and transaction documentation
  • Work closely with founders, senior management, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the post-acquisition integration plan, especially around finance, reporting and digital scaling opportunities
  • Present clear recommendations to the CEO, CFO, and ReachX investment team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in corporate finance, M&A, deal advisory, or transaction services
  • Knowledge of the travel sector or similar asset-light consumer service models is preferred
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Ability to function independently in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
  • Experience working with private equity, acquisitive groups, or IPO-ready companies is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and comfort dealing directly with founders and management teams
  • Available immediately or at short notice for an interim assignment

Why This Role Matters

This project is central to an ambitious acquisition programme that will shape a new pan-European travel group. You will directly influence which tour operators are acquired and help ensure each transaction is financially robust, strategically aligned, and scalable.
