Job description:

OverviewWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and presentable. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position will include some weekend and night work, rota to be sent each week.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.

Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to assist in cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure efficiency.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Assist with deep cleaning projects as required, including floor care, window cleaning, and waste disposal.

Skills

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for cleaning purposes is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.

Excellent organisational skills to manage time effectively while completing tasks.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with colleagues.
