Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Evening Customer Care Associate, you will be the frontline advocate for our members. Your day‑to‑day tasks will include:

  • Answering a high volume of inbound calls from members seeking guidance on healthcare questions, benefits, and service inquiries.
  • Building rapport quickly with callers using a friendly, courteous, and professional tone.
  • Collecting and verifying member demographics, updating our systems accurately, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Diagnosing member needs, determining the best resolution, and executing solutions in real time.
  • Connecting members to the appropriate internal or external resources—whether that’s a provider, insurance carrier, or vendor—while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Managing follow‑up tasks and ensuring timely completion of all required actions per company policy.
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects, training sessions, and cross‑functional initiatives as directed by management.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in problem‑solving and issue resolution.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Comfortable using technology, including CRM systems, reputed company Office Suite, and virtual collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare navigation or benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy best practices.
  • Previous experience in a remote or virtual work setting.
