Senior Commercial Assistant

Stoke-on-Trent ST6

Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

£28,000 – £32,000 a year (pro rata, depending on experience)

Job Description:

Allied Insulatorsis looking for a highly organised and detail-orientedSenior Commercial Assistantto support the daily operations of our busy and growing office. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background in a commercial environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales and purchase orders
  • Update and expedite shipping schedules (inbound/outbound)
  • Handle customer service queries with professionalism
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain system reports
  • Create and manage purchase orders for internal production
  • Process sales and purchase invoices
  • Manage incoming phone calls and general enquiries
  • Perform various clerical and administrative tasks
  • Use ERP software (NetSuite by Oracle)
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
  • Use MS Office (Excel, Word) for daily tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years’ experiencein an administrative or assistant role (required)
  • Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Strong IT skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient inMS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional communication skills

Working Hours:

  • Standard full-time hours:
  • Mon–Thurs: 08:30–17:00
  • Fri: 08:30–13:00
