PMdigital.ai is looking for a Senior Information Manager to support the Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems (AFOMIS) Program Office and AFCENT Surgeon General (AFCENT/SG) on the Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS) program. MEDXS provides full life-cycle IM/IT support for the Air Force Medical Service's operational medicine capabilities. That includes the MEDXS Web Portal, the medical Waiver Management System, analytics dashboards, and Theater Medical Information Program–Joint (TMIP-J) applications used by deployed medical forces at garrison and forward locations in the USCENTCOM AOR.

Senior Information Manager (MEDXS)

  • Location: Remote (CONUS), with travel to the AOR. Supports secure facilities at AFCENT Headquarters and the AFCENT NOSC, Shaw AFB, SC.
  • Clearance: Active Secret
  • Travel: Regular travel to garrison, secure, and forward-deployed sites

Position Summary

The Senior Information Manager provides operations support for the Air Force deployed military healthcare domain. You'll connect clinical and theater continuity-of-care processes with AFOMIS OpMed IM/IT technology through training, business process improvement, and information management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information management services for all deployed software, including quality improvement planning and business process improvement.
  • Deliver measurable process improvements, such as reduced processing time, fewer errors, or more efficient workflows.
  • Develop computer-based and remote training materials covering OpMed business processes in informatics, healthcare reporting, business process improvement, and clinical policy development.
  • Develop and maintain role-based training. Deliver functional and administrative training on the MEDXS Web Portal, Helpdesk, and Waiver applications.
  • Embed sustainment training with Senior Medical Officers in theater, and build IM/IT training into organic readiness training programs.
  • Take part in training governance, and keep accountability records for training personnel, equipment, and trainees.
  • Help develop policies, procedures, and system requirements related to AFOMIS, MEFPAKs, and COCOM mission requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of directly relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience providing operations support for the Air Force deployed military healthcare domain.
  • Experience with theater continuity-of-care processes and AFOMIS OpMed IM/IT technologies.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new applications and capabilities in complex health force protection domains.
  • OCONUS Readiness Requirements (below).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical informatics, healthcare reporting, or instructional design experience.
  • Experience with Articulate 360 or similar e-learning tools.

OCONUS Readiness Requirements (Mandatory on Day 1)

  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance (T3). Clearance verification will be required.
  • Valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining.
  • Proven experience managing personnel deployments, using the Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and handling host-nation theater clearance/DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS AORs.

Compensation: $105-140k per year
