Site Supervisor

<p>SumnerOne is seeking a Site Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an onsite Financial Print and Mail Center to join our team at SumnerOne in St. Louis, MO. This position includes financial print, mail processing, inventory management, and equipment operations. This position provides leadership and direction to a team of three employees to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service across all mail and logistics functions. The supervisor also manages operational reports, maintains compliance with company and carrier standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the department. You will also be required to be knowledgeable in small format printing, mailing, and communicate with the customer on a daily basis.</p><br><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><br><p><strong>Print and Mail Operations</strong></p><br><ul><br> <li>Supervise all incoming and print requests and ensure on time print, mailing, and delivery of final product.</li><br> <li>Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other vendors.</li><br> <li>Oversee equipment quality, inserting, labeling, mailing, and tracking of mail and parcels; ensure adherence to company and postal regulations.</li><br> <li>Maintain accurate records of print and mail center transactions, shipping logs, and delivery documentation.</li><br> <li>Manage the secure handling of confidential and sensitive materials.</li><br></ul><br><p><strong>Team Leadership</strong></p><br><ul><br> <li>Lead, train, and motivate a team of three mail center employees.</li><br> <li>Schedule daily work assignments, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.</li><br> <li>Promote a culture of safety, accuracy, and accountability within the team.</li><br> <li>Assist with performance reviews and participate in hiring or disciplinary actions as needed.</li><br></ul><br><p><strong>Reporting & Process Management</strong></p><br><ul><br> <li>Prepare and maintain operational reports on print and mail volume, shipping expenses, and departmental performance metrics.</li><br> <li>Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.</li><br> <li>Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection standards, and audit requirements.</li><br> <li>Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for mail center operations.</li><br></ul><br><p><strong>Customer Service & Communication</strong></p><br><ul><br> <li>Serve as the primary contact for internal departments and external vendors regarding mail services and logistics.</li><br> <li>Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve delivery or service issues.</li><br> <li>Collaborate with management to support special projects, large mailings, or corporate events.</li><br></ul><br><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><br><ul><br> <li>Past experience in supervising multiple employees with leadership skills.</li><br> <li>Proficiency in standard business software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.</li><br> <li>High volume production printing and wide format printing experience.</li><br> <li>High volume mail processes and shipping through USPS and multiple overnight couriers experience.</li><br> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.</li><br> <li>Effective communication and customer service skills, especially regarding shipping regulations.</li><br> <li>Physical ability to perform tasks requiring extended periods of movement and lifting.</li><br></ul><br><p><strong>Why SumnerOne?</strong></p><br><ul><br> <li><strong>Work-Life Balance:</strong> As a family-owned company, we truly value work-life balance, and make it a priority for all our employees.</li><br> <li><strong>Career Growth:</strong> We’re committed to your growth, offering numerous opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
