Video Editor | Picnic Studio | Handshake

Picnic Studio, a boutique social media agency, is hiring a video editor to join the team.You’ll work on projects in the CPG and food + beverage space and edit high-performing videos for Instagram and TikTok. This role is a great fit for someone who *gets* social media, understands the power of a strong hook, and wants to work with a growing digital marketing agency!

What You Bring:

  • Strong understanding of storytelling on social media
  • Experience editing short-form video content using TikTok or the desktop CapCut app
  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions about hooks, pacing, and the final cut
  • Familiarity with popular video editing styles and social media trends
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines
  • Attention to detail – you’re the first to catch a spelling error or notice when something looks off
  • Nice to have: experience working in Asana and/or Notion

Details:

  • Ideal for a college student with an interest in marketing
  • Independent contractor role
  • 10-15 hours per month, subject to client demand
  • Rate: $15 / hour
