About the position

AO Globe Life is expanding its virtual team and seeking motivated, people-focused professionals to join us as Remote Benefits Representatives. In this role, you’ll meet virtually with individuals and families interested in learning more about available benefits. You’ll answer questions, explain coverage options, assist with enrollment, provide continued customer service, and help clients make informed decisions about their financial protection. This opportunity combines Customer Service, Client Relationships, Benefits Education, and Consultative Insurance Sales. Previous insurance experience is not required. We provide structured training, licensing guidance, qualified client opportunities, mentorship, coaching, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients through scheduled Zoom and phone appointments
  • Connect with individuals and families interested in benefit information
  • Ask questions to understand each client’s needs and priorities
  • Listen carefully to concerns and questions
  • Build professional client relationships
  • Deliver a personalized and respectful virtual experience
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and communication
  • Explain available life insurance options
  • Review accident and supplemental health benefit options
  • Answer questions regarding available coverage
  • Help clients understand policy features and choices
  • Compare available benefit options
  • Provide personalized, needs-focused recommendations
  • Assist eligible clients with applications
  • Guide clients through enrollment
  • Explain required documentation
  • Complete applicable digital records accurately
  • Conduct applicable policy reviews
  • Assist with beneficiary updates
  • Answer general policy and coverage questions
  • Provide ongoing client follow-up
  • Help direct clients through applicable claims-support procedures
  • Maintain accurate digital client records
  • Update documentation when appropriate

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be physically located within the United States
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Have access to a reliable computer or laptop
  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet
  • Have webcam and microphone capability
  • Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
  • Be comfortable communicating through Zoom and phone
  • Be comfortable learning web-based technology
