Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Night Shift)<br><br>Location: Houston, TX<br><br>Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 Per Hour<br><br>Position Summary:<br><br>The Night Shift Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in after-hours warehouse operations by receiving, sorting, and staging incoming freight. This position ensures that shipments are accurately processed, inventoried, and prepared for delivery. The associate supports a seamless transition between day and night shifts, working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to complete any carry-over tasks such as receiving stock, picking and packing orders, and loading outbound shipments.<br><br>Inventory is managed through a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and associates are expected to accurately complete all related transactions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments accurately and safely. </li><li>Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in line with company procedures and quality standards. </li><li>Maintain inventory accuracy by recording stock movements and transactions within the WMS. </li><li>Hand unload containers or shipments as needed, including repetitive lifting and manual handling. </li><li>Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and according to policy. </li><li>Perform routine inventory counts and cycle checks. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. </li><li>Follow all company safety protocols and standard operating procedures. </li><li>Assist with truck loading/unloading as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals and deadlines. </li><li>Accurately complete all WMS-related tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. <br><br><br></li></ul>Qualifications:<br><br><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods, required. </li><li>Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control, required. </li><li>Ability to operate or willingness to learn warehouse equipment, required.
