Job Summary

• Responsible for assisting warehouse functions including but not limited to: shipping receiving and inventory control with the primary responsibility of driving to and from client locations.

• Responsible for delivery and pickup of equipment, hardware and supplies to and/or from various client locations

• Support daily distribution and processing of reports and other correspondence as directed by Manager or Warehouse Coordinator

Other duties assigned as needed

Skills and Abilities

• Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally

• Proficient in windows and Microsoft applications such as MS Word and Excel

• Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail

• Effective communication and interaction with employees clients and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

• Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum 2 years of delivery driving experience.

• Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL Driving standards

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position are necessary to fulfil its responsibilities and essential functions. This role requires frequent lifting, with a maximum individual lift of 25 kg. Heavier goods will be palletised and unloaded using a pallet truck on the van.
