Associate Director, External HUB Programs
Job Description:
- Provide oversight for OneHUB external hub vendors supporting AbbVie’s Access and Affordability programs
- Manage day-to-day vendor oversight, including SLAs, quality standards, compliance requirements, and business needs
- Oversee vendor performance across multiple partners and conduct business reviews
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance review cadence
- Identify performance gaps and direct corrective action plans
- Monitor vendor financial performance and resource utilization
- Identify operational, compliance, and performance risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Partner with AbbVie Patient Services and brand stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into operational execution
- Provide performance updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Identify cross-vendor opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, standardization, patient experience, and program effectiveness
- Guide process enhancements, staffing adjustments, workflow redesign, and technology optimization
- Drive root cause analysis and mitigation planning for systemic or recurring issues
- Lead and develop a team responsible for external hub vendor relationship management and performance monitoring
- Set priorities, accountability standards, and performance expectations; coach team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7+ years of experience in vendor management, operations leadership, patient services, access support, or related commercial operations
- Experience within healthcare, biopharma, patient services, specialty pharmacy, or access support environments preferred
- Experience overseeing external hub vendor performance across multiple partners
- Knowledge of contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Ability to monitor vendor financial performance and resource utilization
- Ability to identify and mitigate operational, compliance, and performance risks
- Ability to translate strategic shifts into operational direction for vendors
- Ability to use data and insights to compare performance trends and identify improvement opportunities
- Ability to lead and develop a team responsible for vendor relationship management and performance monitoring
