[Remote] Analyst II, Analytics

This mid-level position involves bridging raw data and business strategy by developing automated dashboards, performing deep-dive analyses, and communicating actionable insights to stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries in BigQuery to extract, clean, and model data for reporting
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance automated dashboards in Tableau
  • Interface with Airflow to monitor data workflows and ensure reporting accuracy and freshness
  • Partner with business leaders to define KPIs and present findings that drive departmental strategy
  • Assist in the potential migration or implementation of Looker for self-service analytics

Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (ETL logic, window functions, and performance tuning)
  • Hands-on experience building production-level dashboards in Tableau
  • Experience working within GCP (BigQuery) or a similar cloud data warehouse
  • Familiarity with Looker (LookML) or other modern BI modeling layers
  • Basic understanding of Airflow for scheduling and monitoring data pipelines
  • Experience with Python for data manipulation or automation
