Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.<br><br><strong>Position Summary<br><br></strong>As the Senior Transportation Operations Analyst, you will analyze transportation data to identify and execute expense control opportunities, build strong working relationships, execute and influence Inbound Transportation freight operational processes as well as provide ad-hoc analysis/reporting. Additionally, this role supports the freight payment and audit function by analyzing freight bills for accuracy and compliance.<br><br>You will interact with retail leaders and associates in Category Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, and the Distribution Centers. You will be a strong team member who can influence teams to achieve optimal results and be a resourceful and detailed driven individual who works well under pressure and can complete multiple projects simultaneously.<br><br><strong>Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Analyzes complex transportation data, routes, and delivery patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improving operational efficiency.</li><li>Examines and optimizes carrier selection, route planning, and load consolidation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation operations.</li><li>Collects and analyzes transportation-related data, including shipment volumes, transportation costs, transit times, carrier performance, and other relevant metrics.</li><li>Performs freight payment and audit functions ensuring contract compliance and freight rate matching</li><li>Evaluates and manages relationships with transportation carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to monitor carrier performance and facilitate the resolution of service issues.</li><li>Develops and monitors key performance indicators and transportation metrics, regularly providing management with transportation performance updates.</li><li>Identifies opportunities to implement continuous improvement strategies that aim to streamline transportation operations while reducing costs.</li><li>Utilizes transportation management systems and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and track shipment progress in real-time.</li><li>Collaborates with procurement, inventory management, and demand planning teams to align transportation activities with overall supply chain goals.</li><li>Leads transportation-related projects, such as the implementation of new transportation technologies or process improvements.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>1+ years of experience within the transportation industry OR a degree in a related field.</li><li>1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite including proven ability to develop, maintain and run Access databases<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>3+ years of experience within the transportation industry OR a degree in a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite including proven ability to develop, maintain and run Access databases</li><li>Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills</li><li>Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) preferred.</li><li>Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA) preferred.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Education<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Anticipated Weekly Hours<br><br></strong>40<br><br><strong>Time Type<br><br></strong>Full time<br><br><strong>Pay Range<br><br></strong><strong>The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is<br><br></strong>$46,988.00 - $112,200.00<br><br>This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
