Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional
Job Description:
- Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
- Conduct regular live in-field customer engagement and virtual engagements
- Launch new products and develop strategies for business relationships and formulary access
- Engage in product promotion within the assigned geography
- Drive sales and develop relationships with customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders
- Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans
- Identify and implement live and virtual customer-engagement strategies
- Build customer rapport and relationships in live and virtual environments
- Use internal reports and analytics to identify, develop and implement strategic business opportunities
- Leverage approved disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
- Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across relevant business channels
- Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management and other cross-functional colleagues
- Complete administrative requirements, including customer-call entry, expense submission and responses to sales leadership and internal partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or other entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, educator roles, or full-time military experience
- Alternative: associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience
- Alternative: high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
- Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify hiring
- Permanent work authorization in the United States
- Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- Preferred: at least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience
- Preferred: prior vaccines experience
- Preferred: experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products
- Preferred: knowledge of posted territory customers and markets
- Preferred: residence within the territory boundaries
